I woke up in a car...

GUESS WHAT GUYS!?!? I'm getting one!!! A car that is! Tomorrow, around 2:30pm, or Thursday morning at the very latest, a new silver Kia Sportage will be mine! I am so excited!! I get to drive it back to school with me on Sunday and I cannot wait!! I've never driven anywhere near that far on my own so it'll be my first mini road trip by myself!! WOOOOO!! Okay enough about that...
Here's a picture of it

Backing up a bit, spring break has been going pretty well so far. Friday night I spent with my parents sitting in the living room most of the night chatting about my mom's friends from work and apparently successfully convincing them it's a great idea to buy me a car this week.

Saturday during the day I helped my grandpa out with some accounting things and then my sister and I helped him organize the library him and my grandma set up for the assisted living center they're associated with. Earlier in the night Saturday night I went gallivanting around Sun Prairie with Sarah and her friend Katie which was a super fun time. We checked out the new Target in town, stopped at Beans in Cream for AMAZING hot chocolate (which I couldn't finish :o( stupid milk products, why do they have to be so good???), got Katie's stuff for a sleepover and finally returned home, Andrew Kohrs came over later and all four of us played Katamari Democy and basically laughed our heads off for 4 hours or so. Overall it was a really fun day and it was nice to spend a good chunk of time with my grandpa.

Sunday morning I went and ran errands with my family and then we picked up TJ and ate homemade pizza at my house for lunch (If you haven't had it my mom's homemade pizza is really awesome). I spent time with TJ the rest of the night, it was super nice out so we went for a walk and played some basketball with Zach (And by played I mean goofed around and shot the ball).

Monday morning I woke up bright and early and drove my mom and Gramps to Manitowoc to visit some of our extended family as well as my great grandma. It was really nice to see everyone and we went to the bakery in town which is just phenomenal. Unfortunately due to a semi speedy turn on my part all the cupcakes got schmushed and mashed together and my grandpa accidentally sat on the peanut squares without realizing it hahaha. But it all still tasted good so no big deal! Monday night I went over to Andrew's and we watched Friday Night Lights, which I feel like I could totally get into but the last thing on earth I need is another TV show to follow so I'm not letting myself go there. :o)

This morning I got up early with my mom and we ran a TON of errands...It was honestly ridiculous we spent maybe 45 minutes in our car all day long it was a constant in and out in and out. We started out the morning by going to get my moms glass fixed which she hasn't stopped talking about all day. haha she feels very accomplished because they told her not only did she come in at the right time, because all of her screws were lose and they were going to pop out and fall apart at any minute but he was nice enough to not charge her at all for it. Anyway, after that we stopped at Gramp's place and gave him some food for lunch and some more books. Then to the flower shop where my mom got an awesome deal on a big pot for one of her house plants and I got myself some houseplants, yay!! Then finally we stopped at the first car dealership of the day. I test drove a ton of cars new and used and finally found one which I think is "it" at the capital ford/Kia dealership right here on the east side of Madison. While we were waiting or the brand new Kia Soul to be ready to test drive (they literally got it delivered that morning) we went out to lunch at Pizzeria Uno's and discussed our options. After that we stopped at the sprint store to figure out my phone which is another story in itself, Animart to get some fish for our fish tank (The fish guy was very knowledgeable and I actually learned a lot of various fish from him. There were also these CRAZY clear fish. Some of then were all skinny and long and you could see the spine and others were fat and you could actually see all their organs it was really strange but kinda cool and I kinda want some...), Home Depot to do some returns, and back to the dealership. To make what I already made into a ridiculously long story short, we ended up home and back again to see Bill, our car guy, and finally filled out the paper work for tomorrow. Nothing is finalized yet but by Thursday unless something drastic happens and we change our minds it should be.

Whew it was a long day though and I was happy to be home at 6 ish when we finally made it back. Now I'm hanging out in my kitchen with my cat, generally feeling very happy. I miss Eau Claire, which is sad I know and I'm already excited to go back. As much as I love being at my home home and I'm most definitely glad to be here for a week, I'll be more than ready to come home by Sunday.

I'm super excited about tomorrow because I get to call Miss Laura from her mum's phone!!!!! I can't wait to talk to her, it's been way to long and I miss her sooo much!! I'm also probably going to get a new phone in the next few days because in the end it turns out I can re-new my contract now and apparently no charger new or old works on my phone anymore. :o( Pobre phone... I really love my phone and I'll be a bit sad to see it go but...what can you do? I'm also doing Meals on Wheels with Gammpy tomorrow which is always a good time. I love spending time with him, we always have very interesting, usually intelligent, sometimes serious conversations and it's always fun when he's around. Then Thursday I'm heading down to State street/ Madison for the day with Andrew and doing lunch with my mom. Then Friday TJ will be home from camping and I get to see him. I can't believe how busy my week ended up and I'm really excited that it is. It's so nice to be busy with something besides school work to keep my mind off things.

Well I have sufficiently talked WAY to much, so It's time for me to write some papers (haha I know, I'm on break, but school just never really stops...) Everyone take care and I hope all is well!!
