Even though most of you are back from your abroad/away experiences...LAURA COMES BACK TONIGHT!!! WOOOOOT. And EMILY CAME BACK A WEEK AGO WOOOOT. I kind of feel like writing in here anyway so I'm going to.
First of all to update everyone on my health status they STILL don't know what's wrong with me. But what else is new...however I do have a few medications I'm suppose to try. Then in a few weeks it's no Gluten for me for another few weeks...horay, then I have a few other things to try and finally if all else fails I have another appointment 6 weeks out to go into round two of testing, and experimenting with what I eat/don't eat and probably a new set of medications to try. Ugh. I also have a test this Friday where I'm going to drink some probably disgusting fluid and then the doctors are going to watch it go through my body! Yum! Sounds really awesome doesn't it? haha. Anyway, it's okay, it could be much worse and at least we're on our way to finding out what it is!
Last weekend I had a CRAZY weekend. I drove fooorever. First the 14 hours home from Denver to Emily's house in Bloomington on Friday night. Then from there 1 1/2 hours to Eau Claire where I got to see Emily R!!! It was wwwooonderful! We stayed up much later than we should have talking and then I woke up the next day later than I wanted to...packed and drove the 2 1/2 hours home to SP. Once in SP I showered and ate quick and then headed the 45 minutes down to Beliot to see Emily again and hang out with her family! I got to see Michelle and Megan and her parents and play with kids. It was a really fun time. Around 8:30 ish I left Beliot and instead of going home I drove another 45 minutes to Cambridge, which is sort of on the way home, to see Lyss. That was super fun too! I watched them finish up their game of phase 10 which got a bit intense at the end and then we laid out on her dock and talked until 2am. I woke up the next day and drove the 45minutes home to Madison spent the day at home just to turn around and drive the 35 minutes down town for Amy and Abby's B-day party. That was super fun and it was awesome to see Amy again :o). Finally on Monday around 2 ish I arrive back at my home and my crazy weekend driving was over! whew! But it was all sooo worth it, and the gas that it cost :o/.
Panda Bears
Owls
Sunflowers
And finally a cake :o)
I spent a lot of time with my dog today which was actually quite nice and relaxing...some of the time. Playing fetch with Cohen is pretty hilarious not to mention a work out for both parties involved. Cohen fully understands the fetch part, in fact he'll fetch just about anything, from tennis balls to rocks and sticks, to shoes and sunglasses to dolls and even a lawn chair on one occasion. haha that was one of the more funny things I've witnessed my dog do. So as much as he's great at the fetching part he doesn't really seem to understand that he has to bring it back to
1st off it involves between 2-4 tennis balls, bouncey balls or sticks instead of your usual 1. So you start by throwing the first ball, he goes and fetches it like hes supposed to comes back and wants you to play again but he won't put the first ball down, so then you throw another ball. He runs after that and then spends a good 40-50 seconds dropping one and picking up the other trying to decide which one he wants which is super funny to watch. At one point today he succeeded in picking up both of them, however only for a second because then he started choking hahaha. So while he's deciding which ball he wants, I have to walk from the upper deck, down into the yard and pick up which ever ball he doesn't want. This sounds fairly easy but since my backyard might as well be a jungle sometimes we have to play the "Cohen! Where is it?" game where I hold the one ball behind my back and keep repeatably saying that while he goes back into the 2 feet high plants in some places and finds the 2nd ball. So then I go back up to the upper deck and throw the ball and we repeat this until he gets tired enough to play fetch the normal way. hahaha. It's a good time, and I feel that I got my exercise in for today. :o)
As I said earlier Laura's coming home tonight and i am SUPPPER excited!! I'm going to the bus stop with the rest of her family to meet her and then were all going out for Culver's together :o). I cannot wait! It's going to be awesome, I haven't seen her in WAAAY to long.
Well I'm leaving to go get Lulabell so I have to go!!
