Badger Hockey Game and a Great Night in Madison

Last night was a fabulous night with Andrew Kohrs, Amy and Derek. After watching the end of Pirate 3 and Mythbusters. Andrew, Derek and I went to the Badger Hockey game. Amy met us after her shift serving food in the arena about 1/2 way through the game. It was quite the experience but it was really fun. Towards the end I got a few of the chants and the actions that went a long with them. Andrew was very helpful in teaching me what to say and do when certain things happened. :o) Unfortunately we did lose, but only by one point and it was definitely worth going. Afterward we tried to go to Chins for Chinese food on State street but it was closed so we ended up at PotBelly which was really good. We were going to stop and get ice cream but it was closed so I ate golden Oreos at Andrews apartment instead. :oD Once we got home Andrew, Amy and I sat around talking while watching Juno on TV without sound and listening to music. Eventually we put the sound on and after some very late night texting I finally fell asleep.

Today I drove back in record time, especially for winter. I got from downtown to home in 15-20 minutes! When I got home my mom and I set up and started painting the kitchen downstairs. It's looking really great so far, huge difference from the ugly white walls before and the totally uncoordinated room set up. With a new futon cover, new counters and a sink, painted cabinets, new curtains, and new floor eventually it's going to be a really great space. Now I'm sitting in the kitchen keeping my mom company while she's making dinner. Then my plan is to finish painting with my mom, cleaning up my room, getting some projects together for the boys for tomorrow and then going to sleep early so getting up at 6am won't be too terrible.
